The Scriptures teach that God is the Owner of all persons and all things; people are God’s stewards of both life and possessions. Giving is an expression of our worship, obedience, love, and trust in God’s provision. Deuteronomy 14:23 tells us that faithfully giving our tithes has another purpose; it teaches us to revere God!
